RA Family of Arm® Cortex®-M based MCUs
Renesas' RA MCU family combines an Arm Cortex-M CPU core and their best-in-class embedded system peripheral IPs. This enables users to take advantage of Arm’s broad ecosystem support. The RA family consists of five MCU groups with Arm Cortex-M23 or Arm Cortex-M4 which widely cover the market needs for 32-pin to 176-pin devices with 256 KB to 2 MB Flash. These MCUs feature Renesas’ capacitive touch, a secure crypto engine supporting synchronous and asynchronous crypto acceleration, a 24-bit AD converter, and segment or TFT LCD controllers. These RA MCUs make it easy to develop IoT edge devices with e-AI by using the flexible software package, fast-start software for security and connectivity, development tools from Renesas, and the Arm partner ecosystem.
