As interfaces UARTs (receptor/transmissor universal assíncrono) são circuitos físicos que convertem bits paralelos de um microcontrolador ou CPU em bits seriais para transmissão ou convertem bits seriais recebidos em bits paralelos para usar em outro microcontrolador ou CPU.
