The Military and Industrial Rugged, Harsh environment markets are now going beyond the capabilities of the RJ 45 Ethernet standard. More and more requirements are coming in for faster Ethernet speeds of 10Gbps and even higher along with smaller connector designs while maintaining performance in those rugged, harsh environments.
