An Innovative Approach to NTC/PTC Thermistors and RTD Electronic Simulation (Part II)

This presentation will introduce design engineers to Vishay’s innovative electronic circuit models for PTC thermistors used in power applications and resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) used for temperature measurement. As was the case in Part I (specific to NTC thermistors), this presentation will illustrate how to accurately simulate complex analog circuits, only this time involving PTCs and RTDs. In case there is interest in NTC thermistor modeling for temperature sensing simulation, have a look at Part I of this series.
