These devices come standard with Debian Linux operating systems. Users can install their own applications for specific requirements, such as Docker containers, Node-RED, or Grafana.

WAGO Edge computers feature 4 GB DDR3, 8 GB DDR3, or 16 GB DDR4 RAM, enabling control engineers and enterprise software developers to run their own internal applications for heavy data processing such as machine learning. These devices also help reduce time-to-market by leveraging pre-developed Edge applications such as Software AG Cumulocity IoT or Inductive Automation Ignition Edge.
