The composite construction provides extremely low buzz noise and can handle high transient current spikes without saturation. These inductors are used in applications like LED lighting and can be configured into step-down, step-up, SEPIC, and flyback types of topology to meet requirements of LED lighting where they can be configured individually in series or parallel. Signal’s inductors are built to meet the demanding requirements of lighting applications.
