Waterproof Right-Angled SMA Connector

GCT's Nautilus waterproof right-angled SMA connector is a first to market product, providing engineers with even more options when looking for water and dustproof coaxial connections in their designs. The 6 GHz capabilities found on the connector will cater to the latest technology trends such as 5 G and IoT applications.

SMA right angle configurations can help with placement in product designs where the position of other components makes it difficult to route a standard straight cable. This is often the situation for compact designs or when there are parts tightly packed together within an enclosure.

There are four Nautilus cable assemblies available with the IP67/IP68 right-angled rear mount jack:

• Cable 399 - SMA straight plug to Nautilus SMA right-angle jack
• Cable 394 - I-PEX MHF I right-angle plug to Nautilus SMA right-angle jack
• Cable 395 - I-PEX MHF I right-angle plug to Nautilus RP-SMA right-angle jack reverse polarity
• Cable 391 - MMCX right-angle plug to Nautilus SMA right-angle jack

The assemblies will benefit from GCT's expertise in the market with environmental sealing, further establishing Nautilus at the forefront of the sector with new and innovative configurations suitable for a wide range of applications. SMA Nautilus cable assemblies have also undergone extended environmental testing to simulate prolonged use in demanding environments. More information about the EES tests can be found here.
