400 Series Power Connectors

Bulgin's 400 Series power connectors are the smallest in the Buccaneer family

It is the smallest connector in the Buccaneer family with cable ranges from 3 to 7 mm. The 400 Series offers 2-12 pole options with a max rating of 8 A, 250 V. Mounting styles include front and rear paneling, flex, flex in-line and PCB. Its secure sealing system is ideal for submersion in water or protection against dust.

  • Sealed to IP68 when mated
  • IP68 rating tested at 1.054 kg/sq cm (15lb/sq in) 10 m depth for 2 weeks
  • 2 and 3 pole - 8 A, 250 V rating
  • 4, 6 and 8 pole - 5 A, 125 V rating
  • 10 and 12 pole - 1 A, 50 V rating
  • 2.5 mm contact engagement for electrical integrity
  • 'Scoop proof' contacts
  • Contact inserts are part of body molding
  • Cable range from 3 to 7 mm
  • Overall length (flex + flex in-line) 80 mm
  • Gold plated contacts
  • Diameter over coupling ring 19.1 mm
  • Front and rear panel mounting panel connectors
  • Pre-wired, overmolded cable assemblies
  • Flex, flex in-line, front panel, rear panel and PCB mounting body styles
  • Plug and socket versions in all body styles
  • Flame retardant molding material - Polyamide UL94-V0
  • Contacts supplied separately (except PCB versions)
  • Sealing caps available to maintain IP68 rating
  • Secure sealing system
  • Crimp and solder contacts
  • PCB mounting connector supplied with contacts pre-loaded
  • UL, CSA and VDE approvals
  • IP69K rated, tested in accordance with DIN 40050/Part 9 IP6K9K
