J-CAP Series Capacitors

KYOCERA AVX releases the J-CAP series Joule/cc tantalum solid electrolytic chip capacitors with conductive polymer electrode. These caps have the highest energy per volume, 3x reflow with 260°C compatible and low ESR. The conductive polymer electrode offers benign failure mode under recommended use conditions.  The undertab terminations layout offers high volumetric efficiency, low profile case sizes, high capacitance in smaller dimensions, and close positioning of multiple parts. The J-CAP series is suitable for applications that need high energy per volume, power backup for SSDs.
