Single-Pair Ethernet (SPE) T1 Connectors

TE Connectivity's connectors have a small form factor to allow miniaturization in next-generation applications

Image of TE Application Tooling's SPE T1 Connectors Instead of transmitting Ethernet over two pairs (for fast Ethernet of 100 Mb/s) or four pairs (for gigabit Ethernet), TE Connectivity's single-pair Ethernet (SPE) specifies Ethernet transmission over only one pair of copper wires. Power over data line (PoDL) enables powering the remote device via the same pair of wires. The small connector form factor allows miniaturization in next-generation applications. Having a small diameter, as well as more flexible and less heavy cables, these connectors enable applications to move faster and use less energy.
